The Foundational Aligned Trust patent (Allowed)
US 12,003,499 B2 (2024) Allowed in 2024 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the patent introduces a new framework in authentication across people and devices worldwide.
TrustReveal
Instead of treating each login as an isolated event, the system allows authentication moments to build on one another over time—reducing the friction of repeated challenges and enabling high-confidence identification with minimal friction. The patent allows Aligned Trust to create a universal database that would provide authentication assurance for each legitimate person, saying on their behalf: “Yes, that’s her.”
Low barrier to entry
A key innovation is the introduction of non-destructive 'over-the-shoulder' architecture. Although Aligned Trust can bring intelligence into every authentication moment, it does not disrupt or replace legacy systems, creating a low barrier to entry for financial institutions. If Aligned Trust were to be disrupted for any reason, existing systems would continue to operate uninterrupted, since Aligned Trust introduces no single point of failure.
Inviolate Data Privacy
Aligned Trust separates trust from data location. It does not retain personal data in human-readable form, but instead maintains abstracted identifiers and trust signals--making jurisdictional access insufficient to reconstruct identity or track individual activity.
TrustID
The first patent also includes the creation of vanity IDs. That means for no cost, or for a little cost, or for a possibly significant cost (depending on how in-demand), millions of people will be able to purchase unique-to-them simple identifications that will work anywhere in the world. So if you purchased your own TrustID 'Bob,' no one else could have it, just like a URL. And if Bob is your TrustID, it's all you will need to sign in, buy a car, and travel the world as if it's your own private club.
TrustHold
Maintaining rightful control throughout the IoT lifecycle. The USPTO also allowed Aligned Trust to create a universal clearing system for every object in the IoT, from creation to enrollment, through all possible transfers, up to retirement. Among other breakthroughs, this means that the relationship between people and their devices can be clearly assured. There are numerous additional breakthroughs inherent in IoT management by Aligned Trust, including reliable delivery of medicine in hospitals (TrustRx).

This patent creates the TrustEdition system which alters the notion that every copy of a movie, or song, or digital written work is the same. With this technology in place, pirate copies can be quickly traced back to the purchaser of that unique copy that was used to make an unauthorized copy. Theft via piracy? Not worth it anymore. Who gets empowered: every creative person--from authors, to musicians and filmmakers. And the publishers, labels and distributors of that creative work. TrustCode Patent Pending
As with the TrustEdition for Digital Media, this provisional creates a world in which there are no more endless copies of any software, including Operating Systems, SaaS apps, PRAMS, office suites and anything else that is built with code. The system will reduce the value of stolen phones, reduce friction normally triggered by OS upgrades, and create a provenance chain of legitimate ownership for all software.

TrustAgent
One of the greatest challenges facing the useful deployment of AI is the ability to trust an AI agent to do what is intended--and nothing more. And the challenge for an AI agent to be trust worthy on the services end, is how to trust that the AI agent is actually authorized to do what it wants to do. The answer is to tether the AI agent to its human being owner, and for Aligned Trust to assure both ends of the system that the service provider can trust the agent, and that the owner of the agent can be assured that the agent is staying within its pre-set boundaries. The owner's interface is through an app, called TrustDirector, which tethers all AI agents simultaneously for an owner, and provides alerts and the power to dis-enroll any agent.
